Welcome to Stone Hill Learning Center, your
Christian hybrid homeschooling partner.
Hybrid Homeschooling is a growing educational trend that is a mix of homeschool with more traditional academics. Parents continue to direct their child’s at-home education and integrate academic courses through a classroom experience for one, two, or even three days a week. At the Learning Center parents can choose from a variety of course offerings to supplement their child’s education, to fill an education requirement, or to expand their child’s individual interests. We provide collaborative, enriching learning opportunities.
This year marks thirty-eight years in operation as a ministry of Stone Hill (previously Westerly Road) Church in Princeton, New Jersey. In 1984, we established Learning Center upon the following core values:
OUR MISSION is to support both parents and children in their homeschooling experience, by offering group learning opportunities and additional educational resources which complement those already existing in the home.
OUR VISION is one that seeks to encourage students to develop their gifts and abilities as unique persons made in the image of God. "God created mankind in His own image... male and female He created them." (Genesis 1:27)
OUR TEACHERS are dedicated Christians who seek to live out their faith by serving the educational needs of their students in the context of their faithful examples of love, mercy, sacrifice, discipline and justice.
OUR STUDENTS come from a variety of ethnic and religious backgrounds, although majority of them are Christians. SHLC students recognize the uniqueness of our community of learners by agreeing to uphold a Code of Conduct and dress code.
